The Byron Aviation Research and Development department brings your ideas to life while still meeting all regulatory (including FAA, CAA, JAA) requirements.
We pride ourselves on open communications and the continued face-to-face interaction between Byron Management, Byron Engineering and the customer during the development process. Our aim is not only to meet your requirements but exceed your expectations.
The Research and Development department has grown to become a strong, competent team and an integral part of the Byron Aviation Group. We consistently produce high quality products, as to be expected from a world-class manufacturer. We have supplied customers with products to suit their aircraft both Commercial and General (VIP). We often have representatives from Airbus and Boeing witness testing and perform conformity inspections on our new products.
Design Technology
Using the latest technology, we create a 3D model of the product and perform a stress analysis without having to manufacturing a single component. Furthermore, using computer controlled (CNC) machines allows us to manufacture to the high accuracy our customers demand.
Testing and certification
Our products can be tested, using our in-house static test area. All tests can be accompanied by the required documentation, such as Static Load Test Plans, Static Load Test Reports, Compliance Overview Reports, Material Fire Property Test Plans, Interface Loads Reports and Compliance Reports.
