Our engineering team offers a comprehensive in-house design and development capability dedicated to providing cost effective turnkey solutions.

As part of the design and development process, Byron Aviation provides full support to its customers for their certification and regulatory needs. This includes the provision of drawings, analyses, testing, test reports and first article inspections, and contribution to conformity inspection.

Our Engineering and Project management team is able to guide a customer right from the initial meeting; providing support and seeing the design through to production. The program manager will coordinate with the customer PDR, CDR & FAI to ensure all the ‘boxes are ticked’. Our philosophy is… “Get it right the first time”.

Testing

Byron Aviation has an in-house static test cell used for conducting Static Load Tests for qualification and certification purposes on all new parts and components. Byron Aviation has full capabilities for the design, development, testing and manufacture of these items.

All the required documentation will be prepared and submitted by the Engineering and Quality Assurance Departments and forwarded to the approving body. We can also supply documentation such as: Static Load Test Plans, Static Load Test Reports, Compliance Overview Reports, Material Fire Properties Test Plans, Interface Loads Reports and Flammability Compliance Reports.
